Biography
Pastor and Evangelist Dr. Ramón A. Sánchez was born in Santiago, Dominican Republic. He has been married for over 37 years to Rev. María C. Sánchez, also of Dominican origin. He is the father of five children: Rey, Brawley, and Jerardy from his current marriage; and James and Indhira from his previous marriage. He is also the grandfather of seven grandchildren, who are a fundamental part of his family and ministerial legacy.
In the early years, he resided with his family in New York. In 1995 they moved to Orlando, Florida, and in 1996 the entire family had a personal encounter with the Lord at Iglesia El Calvario in Orlando, where they grew spiritually and were equipped for ministerial service. Since then, they have dedicated their lives and their home to the service of the Lord.
Dr. Sánchez is an ordained minister of the Assemblies of God and a graduate of the Theological Institute of the Assemblies of God. He served as General Presbyter and Vice President of the CHAMA Conference of the Assemblies of God in South Carolina. He was a teacher and principal of the Theological Institute of the Assemblies of God. Before dedicating himself fully to ministry, he worked as a professional sales agent for the Chrysler company, with a master's degree in sales.
For several years he served as an international evangelist, ministering in countries across Africa, Europe, Central and South America — including Brazil, Spain, Costa Rica, Honduras, and Mexico — as well as in most states of the United States of America. Through the ministry "Honor al Maestro," he witnessed the manifestation of God's glory through miracles, wonders, and revivals.
In response to the missionary call, in March 2007 he established himself with his wife in South Carolina, where they planted in the city of Greenwood the Iglesia Cristiana Misionera A/D, a congregation they currently pastor, as well as the Iglesia Vencedora in the city of Clinton.
The Iglesia ICM has its own radio station, Radio TV Impacto 97.7 FM, as part of the vision to reach souls and disciple them, thus fulfilling the Great Commission to take the gospel to the ends of the earth.
Dr. Ramón A. Sánchez continues to develop a ministry marked by faith, missionary commitment, and passion for the expansion of the Kingdom of God.
